In 1996 our company was founded by restaurateur owner Jim Lukens. Jim grew up in Southeastern PA and Delaware where he continues to live, raise his family and lead our company. After a career of operating a few large local companies, Jim developed a passion for Food and Service. Time on the road across the country Jim experienced some of the best and not so best of the restaurant industry. With this insight and the help of a few key individuals Jim's team created a concept around three simple principals; exceptional food that begins with quality, outstanding service based on teamwork and a culture of excellence devoted to our guest's satisfaction.

From the beginning we have been driven by a mission of "doing it the right way" and we have succeeded in establishing ourselves as the premier destination in each community we are in. Our friendly, motivated and sincere team has created a lasting relationship with each guest we encounter. You will be sure to recognize us by name as we will you.

Since our 1st restaurant in Reading, PA (Austin's Restaurant & Bar) we have added the J.B. Dawson's Restaurant and Bar namesake (same quality different name) to Langhorne, PA and Lancaster, PA. Since 2014 we have added our Coastal Grille concept to the Greater Reading Area. We remain focused on evolving our company to meet the continued needs of our guests. Finding the best ingredients, new recipes and a continued dedication to training ensures that we will always be here to satisfy our many loyal and ever growing guests! As we look forward to a future of steady growth our sights remain focused on being the very best. We understand our future is dependent on how we perform today and that our growth will continue to come "one plate at a time".
