HomeSchool Event : Ancient Tools, Modern Hands
Upcoming In-PersonAbout This Event
What did people use before power tools, plastic, and hardware stores? Let’s find out! In this hands-on homeschool program, learners will explore ancient tools and discover that many of them aren’t all that different from the tools we use today. We’ll look at how early people shaped stone, solved everyday problems, and used creativity and skill to get the job done.
Best of all, participants will get to try their hand at flint knapping. Expect curiosity, sparks of discovery (sometimes literally!), and a deeper appreciation for the ingenuity of people from the past.
