Bayside Medical Missions

Thirty-eight years ago, Bob Eubanks and Paul Fellers, orthopedic surgeons from Fairhope, Alabama began traveling to underdeveloped countries to provide surgical interventions. Because of the need they encountered, they began making yearly trips overseas.

In 1999 Bayside Medical Missions, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization was formed. Many countries were served. In the year 2000 BMM committed to long term work in Ecuador providing volunteer opportunities for health care professionals to offer medical care to those who would otherwise not be able to receive it. Working together through strong relationships with local physicians and professionals quality ongoing care is achieved.

We seek to serve with love and compassion those whom God places in our reach. To provide the best care possible, enhancing the lives of the people we serve. While the services of the volunteer doctors are provided free of charge, there are always expenses associated with the surgeries for which we seek sponsorships through donations.
