Café Colao began as a neighborhood café rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and built for community. For over two decades, we've been serving rich café alongside classic sandwiches on our fresh baked pan sobao, fresh pastries and our beloved avena de coco using recipes made to comfort, connect and bring people together. Born in Chicago, Café Colao is inspired by the way café is shared in our Puerto Rican culture: strong, intentional, and meant to be enjoyed with others.
