When one thinks about Italian food, the first thing that comes to mind in Chicagoland is an old standard, Calabria Imports, formerly of Blue Island but now nestled in the beautiful Beverly area of southwest Chicago. We have been serving the public since 1975, offering the finest quality and best-tasting Italian foods at the lowest possible prices. The owner, Pasquale (Pat) Roberto, started with the company in 1988 and has been the sole owner since 1997.

Our specialties are many, starting with the exceptional Italian and American deli meats and cheeses sliced to order. Next, we are home to "The Freddy," as featured on The Food Network and

The Sandwich King. A homemade Italian sausage patty accompanied by sweet peppers, melted mozzarella cheese, and our homemade red sauce. We also have our famous meatball

and provolone sandwich, “The Stenger,” featured on Chicago's Best and made with our red

sauce and homemade garlic spread.

Other grilled favorites include, "The Mickey," Grilled and Crispy Chicken sandwiches, homemade Italian Beef, Meatball, Sausage sandwiches, and a wide variety of excellent salads.

If your appetite calls for a heartier menu, we offer such Italian favorites as spaghetti, mostaccioli, eggplant parmesan, and chicken parmesan over spaghetti. If you would rather have a cold sandwich, try one of our Italian submarines that will make your mouth water. Stacked high with

four different Italian meats, Provolone cheese, and our special dressing, you will know you have

had one of the best sandwiches on the Southside.
