D.A.C Games

Owner and operator Dustin Ortiz opened D.A.C. Games in June 2025 after years of experience working for other businesses in the video game industry. Dustin is a lifelong gamer, having started with a Game Boy at the age of five, before moving on to a Sega, PlayStation 2, and so on. Gaming was a gift and an escape for him, as were video game stores. Eventually, he thought to himself that he could provide that same sanctuary for others. So, Dustin decided it was time to open his own shop.

Paris, Kentucky, offered the perfect opportunity—with an eager and enthusiastic gaming community, yet no local video game store. Dustin saw it as unfair that Parisians had to drive to Lexington, Georgetown, or even as far as Cincinnati for a video game store experience. So he brought the experience to Paris.

But D.A.C. Games is so much more than just a place to buy, sell, and trade games and consoles. Dustin is committed to the interactive experience of his childhood, where video game stores were places for fun and community. In his store, you can try before you buy. Play before you pay. Dustin wants to ensure that everyone who walks through his doors has a chance to find something they like—whether they have $100 to spend or no money to spend.
