Dahlia Acres
About
Marcy and Melissa (The Stille Sisters) grew up on a family farm in Grand Haven, Michigan. In 2015, Marcy fell in love with dahlias and purchased a large lot of Dahlia tubers and Dahlia Acres was born. The lot included a diverse collection of colors and shapes from the intricate geometric beauty of the “Jessie Pom Pom”, to the gorgeous feathery look of the “Hot Pink Hottie”. Marcy has always grown vegetables and flowers and owns and manages the farm. Melissa has an art degree from Grand Valley State University and is an art teacher in Norton Shores, Michigan. Melissa provides marketing and event planning for the farm. Together they host many “Design Workshops” that allow social and professional groups to come to Dahlia Acres for a fun flower arranging event. These gatherings can be focused on creating flower arrangements or seasonal decor from July through December. Folks who attend these events go home with a beautiful display of natural components that they made themselves.
