E.S.C.A.P.E. Kids Fire Prevention and ESCAPE Fire & Safety Services were founded in 1995 by Fire Lieutenant and Certified National Fire Instructor Michael McLeieer as a means to deliver safe, effective and economical fire & life safety training to children and adults of all ages.

To date, we have educated over one million children & adults in fire safety, personal health and safety preparedness and evacuation techniques. We have had over 75 people who have saved their family or a loved one from danger after taking a class from E.S.C.A.P.E.

Firefighters have always been a positive role model to our children, and through education and awareness programming, children know what to do when they encounter an emergency situation after completing an E.S.C.A.P.E. course. In 2001, our fire and life safety lesson plans were updated to meet the new Educational Curriculum Framework. Our certified firefighter educators actively participate in numerous events and volunteer hundreds of hours each year to promote fire & life safety.

ESCAPE is an authorized independent Training Center for the Emergency Care & Safety Institute®, the American Safety & Health Institute® and a Community Training Site for the American Heart Association®. Our instructors are certified with the Emergency Care & Safety Institute®, the American Safety & Health Institute®, the American Heart Association®, and the National Safety Council®.

Emergencies happen. They strike us at work, at home, on the farm, in the car, at play and often when we least expect them. Our corporate mission at E.S.C.A.P.E. Kids Fire Prevention and ESCAPE Fire & Safety Services is to provide men, women, and children with the tools and skills, like CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillation) & First Aid training, to deal with emergency situations properly.
