Jefferson Street Sound, LLC is committed to preserve and pursue the musical legacy that Historical Jefferson Street has fostered, hosted and entertained since the early 1940's, as the lively hub of Jazz, Blues and R&B in Nashville. The Museum is honored to be a new site on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail. Step back in time and tour the Museum. Listen and learn about the artists that performed on Historic Jefferson Street from Jimi Hendrix, Etta James, James Brown, Little Richard, Peggy Gaines, Jimmy Church, Frank Howard, Jackie Shane, Ike and Tina Turner and more.
