Marshfield Area Respite Care Center

The primary service is a peaceful and serene social daycare program for the participants and their caregivers every weekday from 10am-4pm. While the participants are attending MARCC, their caregivers have personal time to keep appointments, shop, go out to lunch, spend time with friends, or get some rest. Information and referral services are provided for families about other services and resources. MARCC hosts two support groups on-site. The Parkinson's support group meets during the afternoon of the third Thursday of every month. The Alzheimer's support group meets during the evening of the last Thursday of every month. MARCC's goal is to enhance the quality of life for the families through some free time of caregiving and to offer socializing opportunities for the participants in a safe and welcoming environment.
