Since opening in 2007 Osteria has become one of the country's most critically acclaimed Italian restaurants, earning chef Jeff Michaud the 2010 James Beard Foundation Award for "Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic." Using a wood burning grill and custom-made brick oven, the kitchen is focused on seasonal menus prepared using traditional Northern Italian techniques. Menu includes fresh hand-made pastas, thin-crust Neapolitan and Roman-style pizzas, antipasti, wood-grilled meats and seafood, house-cured salumi, and decadent desserts.
