Philomena Bake Shop

Philomena Bake Shop* is owned and operated by Caitlin Shea. Caitlin has been baking professionally for over twenty years in Toronto, Ottawa, and Cleveland. After being diagnosed with multiple allergies — including wheat, milk, and soy — Caitlin shifted her focus to make a wholly gluten-free and vegan shop. Philomena is founded on the idea that everyone should be able to find joy in a baked good, whether that occasion is a milestone birthday, an intimate wedding, or a coffee break.

Since then, Philomena has had great success making custom-baked goods for individuals and with wholesale partners throughout the city. We now have a bakery in Slavic Village at 5324 Fleet Ave!

Philomena Bake Shop is named after the two founders’ fathers — hard-working, loyal, generous, and kind men — who share the name Phil.
