Playmates is a non-profit, state-licensed child development entity covered by liability insurance. Playmates sites have met requirements to be a WVDHHR Tier III status program. Our agency has been serving the community since 1983.

Playmates have an “open-door policy” in which parental visits, conferences, and observations are encouraged. Playmates follow all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Department of Health, the West Virginia Department of Human Resources, the Office of the West Virginia Fire Marshall, and the West Virginia Department of Education.
