Sailer Design

Founded in 2008, Sailer Design is the professional creative expression of Alyson Sailer. She combines the love of diverse architectural styles and traditions with a practical approach that makes Sailer Design homes both beautiful and functional. Every Sailer Design home features a trademark and innovative attention to detail. Alyson possesses a unique gift, allowing her to integrate her clients’ dreams into functional designs, resulting in wonderfully livable homes. As a mother of four boys, Alyson truly understands the need for a house to “work.”

Alyson obtained her Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee and her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Miami University. It was there, at Miami, where she learned to incorporate both stunning artistry and historical-style into her design strategy. After her graduation from Miami, she worked full-time renovating a 1920’s cottage. Doing the work herself, from stripping wallpaper to refinishing hardwood floors to a full kitchen remodel, Alyson developed a true appreciation for the building side of design. In her architectural career, she enjoys working with builders from the ground up, seeing something come out of nothing.

After obtaining her Master’s degree, she worked in Nashville, Tennessee with the nationally known firm, Southern Land Company, honing her skills designing homes in Westhaven, an award-winning traditional neighborhood development.
