Short Story Brewing Morgantown

Short Story Brewing was founded in 2017 with a mission to offer craft beer in a community-forward space. We started with brewery operations and a taproom in our hometown of Rivesville, WV and have since grown to operate taprooms in Morgantown, WV; and Charleston, WV; and Deep Creek Lake, MD.

Our award-winning beer and taprooms have helped build the "best family-owned business" of 2024 (Times West Virginian) and celebrate our WV roots—with an eye on quality, consistency and experimentation. We want every sip of our Chasing Daylight IPA and every seat at our bar to feel like home, no matter where you hail from. You can also try our beer at one of many fine establishments around North Central WV.
