Though softball may seem like a simple game, its parallels to real life are infinite and invaluable. Players learn sportsmanship, how to overcome adversity, how to set and achieve goals. Softball is good for character development, intellectual growth, and learning the pursuit of excellence. Lifelong friendships are developed in this game, as well as a discipline and confidence in oneself.
