South Ahan, playfully translating as 'Southern Food' was established by husband and wife duo Daovone & Nokie. Both raised in the South since childhood, it was only fitting for the family-run restaurant to name it so. As second generation Lao, Thai and Vietnamese Americans our family roots spans three southeast Asian countries renowned for putting out world's great cuisines. We are showcasing Luang Prabang's exotic and robust dishes of Laos, the North East E-saan region of Thailand for it's fiery spices, the incredible broths & noodles of southern Vietnam.
