Dean's been capturing beautiful images for longer than he cares to discuss, which might explain his drama-free, anything's possible approach to shooting. Whether it's a challenging lighting set-up in the studio or getting to his location in a hollow log with an engine on a river in Panama, he's always up for a challenge, and always takes it on with sincerity and a smile.

Although he's pretty humble about his adventures, you might get him talking about swimming to the edge of the Devil's Pool to see the great Zambezi River plunging 350 feet over Victoria Falls. Or about the awe he felt shooting Mies van der Roe's Farnsworth House, realizing exactly what the architect had in mind with his masterpiece. With equal enthusiasm, Dean will share what it takes to capture the image of a simple chair, or the perfect shot of a giggling crowd of African kids, or photographing CEOs, gorgeous footwear, massive machines, or delicate flowers...you get the idea.
