The Aviary Tattoo Shop

The Aviary Tattoo Shop was established in 2023 by artist and owner Gretchen Diehl. Having started her career as a fine artist, Gretchen was always looking for ways to make her art accessible to everyone. Her personal approach to the art and craft of tattooing has gained her a loyal following. Each piece is unique and tells a personal story. Gretchen excels at coverup tattoos, pet portraits, illustrative and realistic styles, and black and grey pieces as well as color.

Associate Artist Madeline has a background in aesthetics and excels at tiny tattoos and fine line pieces (as well as brows and lips, of course). She loves florals, bugs, and spooky stuff.

The Aviary Tattoo Shop is woman-owned and operated, and is inclusive to our LGBTQIA+ friends, as well as persons with special needs, mobility issues, and anxiety. The shop has lots of experience working on all skin tones and types including dark skin tones and scar tissue.
