The Guthrie Opportunity Center

Programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including:

1. On-The-Go Foods — "Participants help grow, prepare, and deliver fresh meals using ingredients from our greenhouse and kitchen. This program teaches valuable job skills and supports healthy food access in our community. In addition, we partner with the Nelson County Food Pantry to prepare and package 350 meals per week, for the Meals From the Heart program."
2. GreenHouse & Gardening — "In this program, participants care for plants, learn seasonal growing techniques, and gain hands-on experience with horticulture. It promotes responsibility, patience, and life skills through daily care tasks.
