The Sweeter Magnolia

In 2019, Adrian and Chelsea started Magnolia’s Landscape and design in Lexington.

Adrian did the landscaping, Chelsea did the designs, but she had dreams of more.

Chelsea grew up near the beach in California, where everyday is a sunny day and flowers are always in bloom. There are cute little bodegas selling fresh cut flowers trickled all over the coast. She thought it was such a sweet idea.

Fast forward to 2024, Chelsea got a wild idea to build her own flower bodega, but make it Kentucky style. Adrian said “let’s do it!” So she bought an old 1980s horse trailer and began her dream.

A year went by, and the dream started to fizzle, but Adrian pushed her through the slump. He had Chelsea draw up a design of what she wanted, he gathered his friends, power tools, and (lots of) rustoleum paint.

Together, they transformed that sweet little rust bucket into the Sweeter Magnolia Flower Trailer.
