“A MODERN RENOVATION of the historic Mid-Century Modern Parkmoor Drive-In restaurant, located betwixt Kettering, Patterson Park & Oakwood. Great care and intention were given to honor and preserve the historic feel of this beautiful, award winning structure from the 1950’s. Originally built by local Dayton architect, Rollin L. Rosser, The Parkmoor thrived through a couple decades before transitioning into a Burger Chef, then two versions of the beloved Carmel’s. Now under the guardianship of The Idea Collective (owner/operators of Downtown flagships Sueno, DOZO, and Tender Mercy since 2020), the local hospitality group has brought the property back to life in hopes of continuing to provide a quality-driven, family-friendly neighborhood “perch” for the Dayton dining scene.
