Urban Village

Located in the old post office in downtown Nicholasville, Urban Village is a legacy ministry of Nicholasville Presbyterian Church, a congregation that served Nicholasville and Jessamine County for nearly 200 years. We are so grateful for their faith and generostiy that enabled the vision of an Urban Village to come to fruition.

The mission of Urban Village is to be a

place of grace where all people are welcome and where each person can grow in mind, body, and spirit.

To this end, Urban Village has an indoor play area for children and youth, martial arts classes, faith-based activities for youth and adults, and host community outreach events. Our newest program is our Autism Moms Support group that meets on the first Monday of each month from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

During the school year we have an after school program for elementary students that engages children in physical and creative activities and provides healthy snacks, homework help, and a place to build friendships. School bus drop-off from Nicholasville Elementary School is available for this program.

Our summer camps cover a wide variety of topics and interests. These camps are open to all kids ages 6 through 11.

While we do charge for many of our programs, scholarships and financial assistance are available. For more information on financial assistance, please contact us.
