Dogtoberfest 2026

This event is going to the dogs—in the best way possible! Dogtoberfest is all about celebrating our four-legged friends with an evening of wagging tails, cold drinks, live entertainment, and plenty of fun for both pups and their people. Your best friend isn’t just invited—they’re part of the celebration!

We’re bringing a little Bavarian flair to Indian Creek Plaza with our own dog-friendly twist on the centuries-old tradition of Oktoberfest. Grab a seasonal beer, bring your pup, and enjoy a festive evening in Downtown Caldwell.

One of the biggest highlights is the crowd-favorite “Running of the Wieners” Wiener Dog Race, so round up those speedy Dachshunds and cheer them on as they race across the Plaza! All dogs are welcome to join the festivities—and we encourage them to show up wearing their very best Dogtoberfest attire!

Think you have the forearm strength of a Bavarian champion? Put it to the test during our Stein Holding Competition, then enjoy live music from the Edelweiss Band, seasonal beer, and plenty of Oktoberfest-inspired fun throughout the evening.
