The Takoma Park Recreation Department staff is preparing for a host of events that are designed for the entire family. On Saturday, October 31, Monster Bash 2026 will kick off at 1:00 p.m. with games, fun activities and the Annual Costume Contest and Parade down Philadelphia Ave.
We will end the festivities with the Costume Award Ceremony and celebration. Costume categories include Most Original, Funniest, and Scariest.
Age categories: Ages 4 and Under; 5 - 8; 9 - 12; Teen and Adult; and Overall Group.
