The Museum of the Coal Industry is a local history museum in Lynnville, Indiana dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of coal mining in Warrick County. It features historical artifacts, interactive exhibits, and memorabilia that illustrate the evolution of coal mining technology, the daily lives of miners, and the cultural heritage of the region. Exhibits include tools, photographs, and restored equipment such as the historic “Tinker Bell” locomotive used at the former Peabody mine, and educational programming designed for visitors of all ages.
