The Bullpen Fight Club was founded in 2008 when Thomas Hasting's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team joined forces with Mike Napple's boxing team. Thomas had the top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym in the Ohio Valley and Napple had the top boxing gym in the valley. Both teams had students interested in competing in mixed martial arts and both coaches knew that combining forces was in the best interest of their students.
