It is located right at Compton Rapid, the midpoint of the two day river trips. The facility provides fresh water, portable toilets, picnic tables, and firepits, but no showers or hot water. Tent camping only is allowed. On weekends, camping at Golden Rock Campground is exclusively for customers paddling canoes, kayaks or rafts on first-leg or multi-day trips.
