Harpeth Gymnastics was established in 1986 under the name Harpeth School of Gymnastics by Franklin natives, Scott and Glenda Webster. Scott graduated from Franklin High School in 1974 and received his Masters in Education from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). As a graduate assistant he taught gymnastics, tennis, and swimming. Upon graduation, he became a schoolteacher and coach.
