Libby’s Ice Cream

Libby and her family have been living and running a home goods retail shop in downtown Fortville. They often visited the local ice cream parlor just across the street from their shop. However, the sudden closure of the ice cream parlor one autumn day in 2018 left Libby and many locals heartbroken. Longing for ice cream and recognizing the community’s disappointment over the absence of an ice cream shop on Main Street, Libby and her husband made the decision in spring 2019 to incorporate ice cream into their retail offerings and rebrand the shop.

Libby’s vision was to create a welcoming space where the community could enjoy delectable ice cream while spending quality time with friends and family. As a small business, we proudly support other local businesses and our community. Our ice cream comes from Sundaes Homemade Hand-Dipped Ice Cream, a beloved local brand that has been serving Indianapolis for over 35 years.

Now operating in two locations, Fortville and Greenfield, we are excited to expand to McCordsville in 2025. Be sure to follow us on social media to keep up with our daily flavors and specials.
