Welcome to Cristo Rey Richmond Athletics! Through positive athletic development and competition, we support the mission of the school to develop young men and women of faith, purpose, and service. Our programs include Boys Varsity/JV Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball, Cheer, Cross Country, Boys and Girls Soccer, Track, Girls Volleyball, and Girls Tennis.

We believe participation in athletic activities is not a right, but a privilege to be earned. Athletics teaches young women and men the value of hard work, leadership, loyalty, personal sacrifice, sportsmanship, and teamwork as they grow into adulthood and matriculate through life. Our athletes are held to the same high standards on the athletic field as they are in the classroom.

The Cristo Rey Richmond athletics program, through positive athletic competition, shares the school’s vision to strengthen the competence, confidence, and aspirations of students while empowering them to build fulfilling lives that advance the common good. We will accomplish this by promoting student, parent, and community involvement; providing a safe fundamental learning environment; impressing upon our student-athletes the importance of schoolwork and education, and actively promoting the mental and physical development of our students.
