 The Dr. and Mrs. Barney Osborne Memorial Scholarship was founded in 1998 by the family of Dr. and Mrs. Barney Osborne. Dr. Osborne was a longtime family physician and surgeon who served the residents of Ironton, Ohio, and the surrounding community for over 30 years until his passing in 1985. Dr. Osborne’s wife, Virginia, worked with her husband at his doctor’s office on 6th and Pine Streets in Ironton during the last few years of his practice.
