For more than 65 years, we’ve been committed to helping abandoned, abused, neglected, and homeless animals in Randolph County and surrounding areas.

We believe that every dog, cat and critter that comes into our care would make a wonderful companion if just given a chance. Our mission is to increase those chances through our pet adoption services.

RCHS is proud to have one of the highest adoption rates for shelters in West Virginia (see recent statistics). But there is always so much more to do, so many more animals that need loving homes.
