Whichever way you choose to enjoy the sail, you are free from the pace of things ashore, and welcome to imagine a slower time when sailing was the only way to travel. Sailing out of Traverse City, Michigan, the Schooner Manitou is a replica of an 1800s schooner, similar to those that sailed the Great Lakes.
