FREE Admission to Permanent Exhibits & Observation Tower
Step into the stories of the American West — for free! On the first Friday of each month, visitors are invited to enjoy complimentary access to the Museum of the West’s permanent exhibits and outdoor observation tower with sweeping views of the Grand Valley.
Explore immersive galleries on:
Indigenous cultures of the Colorado Plateau
The stories of early explorers and settlers
Western firearms, vintage vehicles, and historic trades

Don’t miss the Observation Tower, where you can see from the Bookcliffs to the Colorado National Monument!
Note: Admission to our traveling exhibitions is not included in Free First Friday and may require a separate ticket.
