About This Event
๏ปฟThe SMT Turkey Trot is a family-friendly 5K run or walk through the scenic streets of New Cumberland. Enjoy refreshments and activities at the finish line as we celebrate together on Thanksgiving morning. The race starts at 8:00 a.m.
In Memory of Shirley Mae Taylor
This race honors Shirley Mae Taylor, who passed away in 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. Shirley loved New Cumberland and was a cherished member of our community. She worked at Coakley's restaurant, enjoyed the West Shore Theater and library, and never missed the Apple Festival. We hold this event on Thanksgiving morning because it was one of her favorite holidays and embodies her spirit of family and tradition.
